PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous powder discharge apparatus, by providing specific first and second discharge tanks, a discharge screw conveyor, a feed-out conveyor and first - fourth discharge lines and alternately discharging the powder from the first and second discharge tanks. CONSTITUTION:For example, in a discharge apparatus for discharging baked gypsum from a rotary dryer, the stock material supplied in a kiln main body is bade with steam and the baked one is discharged into a first discharge tank 51A by a discharge screw conveyor 59. An opening and closing valve 74A is opened and the gas in the first discharge tank 51A is exhausted to perform primary pressure falling. Next, an opening and closing valve 78A is opened and secondary pressure falling is performed to finish a pressure falling process. Subsequently, an opening and closing valve 69A is opened and a screw blade 58A is rotated to discharge the baked material to a feed-out conveyor 64. After the finish of discharge, the screw blade 58A is stopped and the opening and closing valve 69a is closed. Thereafter, the pressure in the first discharge tank 51A is raised but, at the time of the rising in pressure, the baked material is discahrged to the feed-out conveyor 64 from a second discharge tank 51B reduced in pressure by similar procedure through a second discharge line 70B. |
