Sequential unfolding structure applicable as a load bearing part of space platforms. It comprises parallel frames joined together by foldable elements. Each foldable element comprises two rigid panels which are articulated together and to the adjacent frames and include resistant elements, overall protection and supports for the pipes. All the panels are driven towards their unfolded position, with synchronization between every two frames, and are connected by means of folding cables. There are automatic locking devices which can be actuated by the panels, which block said panels in their folded and unfolded positions except for the panels located between two of the outer frames in the folded position and those located between the other two outer frames in the unfolded position.
