<p>A description is given of a radiator/air cooler having a finned tube block whose tubes are held with their ends in the tube plates of two water boxes, consisting in particular of plastic, and having elastically clipped-on side parts with U-shaped cross-sections which with their free limbs overlap the end faces of the finned tube block. In this arrangement, the side parts are provided at their two ends with locking hooks which engage in cutouts on the end faces of the tube plates. This configuration has the advantage of simple assembly and of very simple production, because if the side parts are constructed from plastic the locking hooks can be arranged in one piece thereon. It is possible for the purpose of safeguarding position to provide in the region of the middle of the side parts webs which are arranged like a comb one behind the other and engage upon assembly in the interspaces between the fins of the finned tube block, and thus ensure self-closure.</p> |
