PURPOSE:To prevent a motor from running away by stopping the drive of the motor when a malfunction occurs in the operation of a controller. CONSTITUTION:A clock pulse from a relay driving clock generator 11 is output only when the operation of a controller 8 is normal from an AND gate 10, and is not output when a malfunction occurs in the operation of the controller 8. When the malfunction occurs, the periodic ON/OFF operations of a switch 12 is stopped. Thus, the switch 4b of a relay 4 is opened to stop a DC servo motor 3. Accordingly, it can prevent the motor from running away due to a defect of an internal control microprocessor or a firmware. |
