PURPOSE:To inexpensively and simply form an emboss paint film, by respectively applying an emboss pattern and a second paint film to at least a part of the surface of an article to be painted in almost the same thickness using first and second paint compositions differed in atomizing air pressure. CONSTITUTION:A first paint composition such as clear acrylic paint is atomized by a spray gun 6 to coat the entire surface of desired area of an article 1 to be painted to form a first paint film 3 having a desired emboss pattern. Next, a second paint composition same to the first paint composition 2 is atomized by the same spray gun 6 under such a condition that the atomizing air pressure and paint emitting amount used in the first process are increased to perform painting and a second paint film 5 having a thickness almost the same to that of the paint film 3 is formed. By this method an arbitrary emboss design can be expressed only by altering a painting condition.
