PURPOSE:To sharply improve the productivity of an electromagnetic transducer, by using a coil formed by providing coil conductors to a flexible base body integrally and forming the facing end face of the flexible base body by cutting, and then, winding a long coil forming member including the cut and removed section around a core. CONSTITUTION:A coil forming member 14 which is formed by sticking coil conductors to the flexible film base is fitted through a hole 2 for winding and a winding coil is formed with this film. When the coil forming member 14 is passed through the hole 2 for winding and its bonding pads are wire-bonded with each other with wires under a condition where each terminal section is faced to another, and then, its input and output are respectively pulled out, the coil forming member 14 can be caused to operate as a coil. When the wide width part 14b passes through the hole 2 in the course of manufacturing, both wide width parts 14b are put together above the surface of a coil supporting member 3 and at least the excess part of the wide width part 14b of the projecting section 15a side of the film base is cut off and removed. Then bonding pads 16 are connected with each other with wires 18 and a magnetic head is assembled. |
