PURPOSE:To prevent the disordered registration of key information by retrieving the key information supplied from a registered key input part within an information memory part and deciding the presence or absence of the information containing the same key information to display the result of this decision at a registered information display part. CONSTITUTION:The key information is supplied from a retrieving key input part 4 and an information retrieving part 5 retrieves the input key information within an information memory part 6. When the part 5 succeeds in detection of a designated retrieving key, this key is outputted to an information display part 7 with reference to the information stored by the part 6 in response to the key information. The part 7 delivers and displays the information given from the part 5. Then an operator supplies the information to be registered through a register information input part 1 and then the key information through a register key input part 10. An information register part 2 outputs the key information supplied from the part 10 to a duplication retrieving part 8. The part 8 retrieves the key information within the part 6 to decide whether the designated key information is stored or not in the part 6 and displays the result of this decision at a register information display part 9. Thus the disordered registration of the key information is prevented.
