CONVERSION SYSTEM INTO VECTOR BY DIVISION AND COPY OF CONDITIONAL BRANCH

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the converting efficiency into vectors by providing an intermediate part including an optimizing part for an automatic vector conversion function, etc., for a vector processor. CONSTITUTION:The entire structure of a FORTRAN compiler is shown in the diagram. A FORTRAN source program 1 is converted into an intermediate word 3 by a sentence structure analyzing part 2. The words 3 is used as an input and an intermediate part 4 including a vector conversion processing part and an optimizing part converts the word 3 into an intermediate word 5. Then a code producing part 6 produces an object code 7 of an assembler from the word 5. Thus the executing efficiency of the code 7 is improved by means of the part 4 that is original in this system.
