The watch case (1) includes horns (2, 3) connected by a bearing part (7) for the end of the strap (8). Hollowings (4, 5) extend as far as the lower edge of the horns and allow the insertion of a bar having the form of a straightforward pin. The fixing of a customary strap is thus carried out by means of a springless bar, in a simple, fast, economical and reliable manner. <IMAGE>
