PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent antistatic properties, color tube, weather resistance and mechanical characteristics, by blending polybutylene terephthalate with a metal salt of a specified alkylsulfonic acid and a benzotriazole compd. CONSTITUTION:Terephthalic acid (or ester forming derivative thereof) is condensed with 1,4-butanediol to obtain polybutylene terephthalate (A) having a relative viscosity of 1.30-2.00 (in 0.5% o-chlorophenol soln. at 25 deg.C) and a terminal carboxyl group content of 10-80 equivalents/ton. 100pts.wt. component A is blended with 0.01-10pts.wt. metal salt of an alkylsulfonic acid (B) of formula I (wherein R is a Cm alkyl group; R<1> is a Cn alkyl group; m,n>=2.6<=m+n; M is a metal; P is the number of valence electrons of the metal M), 0.01-10pts.wt. benzotriazole compd. (C) of formula II (wherein R, is H or Cl; R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each H, a 1-12 C alkyl or an alkoxy) and optionally, not more than 150pts.wt. inorg. filler, a parting agent, a colorant, a flame retarder, a flame-retardant aid, etc.
