PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant insulated coil which generates no crack in an impregnant hardened material by impregnating and hardening the impregnant obtained by kneading polyester denatured silicon resin and natural mica powder and by diluting it with an organic solvent in a coil wound with an insulated wire. CONSTITUTION:An insulated coil is obtained by impregnating and hardening in a winding 1 an impregnant 5 obtained by kneading polyester denatured silicon resin, methyl silicon resin or methyl phenyl silicon resin, a resin consisting of C, H, O, N elements and having a compatible or common solvent with a silicon resin and powder of natural mica and by diluting with an organic solvent. If used in a high temperature atmosphere of beyond 300 deg.C, an organic material is thermally decomposed and appropriate voids are formed in the impregnated and hardened material. This makes the modulus of elasticity of the impregnant hardened material smaller and no crack is generated in the impregnant hardened material.
