PURPOSE:To maintain a constantly accurate relative position of mounting regardless of repetitive mounting/demounting with regard to the mounting device in the caption, by positioning panel pins and dummy pins by means of the V grooves of the similar V claw bodies and mounting a shadow mask and a panel that are delivered individually. CONSTITUTION:A shadow mask M is set on pedestals 3a-3d and centered by means of a centering mechanism 4. Then, a mobile stand is adjusted in its expansion/contraction so that dummy pins 21, 24 provided thereon may be inserted in panel pin engagement holes on the periphery of the mask M. Next, after holding the mask M by nipping dummy pins 21, 24 by means of V grooves of V claw bodies of mask holding means 6a, 6b, 7a, and 7b, dummy pins 21, 24 are demounted. Thereafter, a panel is carried in on a conveyer 1, and panel pins thereof are adjusted in their positions by means of claw bodies to be engaged in panel pin engagement holes. Therefore, even if the process of mounting/demounting is repeated for the purpose of applying three primary colors on the panel, accurate positioning is applicable to prevent any shift of color taking lace among primary colors.
