PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a heat exchanger, and to improve its durability by bringing a pipe made of an Al alloy containing Zn of a specified wt%, and a fin made of Al or an Al alloy, to reaction soldering by using a Zn compound. CONSTITUTION:An extrusion flat multi hole pipe 2 is constituted of an Al alloy containing 0.1-3wt% Zn, and also a fin 1 is made of Al or an Al alloy. The pipe 2 and the fin 1 are combined, and a flux consisting of ZnCl2, Zn powder, an additive, and an organic solvent is filled between the pipe 2 and the fin 1. Subsequently, reaction soldering is executed at a temperature of about 420 deg.C, and a heat exchanger 3 is assembled. Since Zn of a proper quantity is contained in the pipe 2, the durability of a junction part of the pipe 2 and the fin 1 is improved, and since the reaction soldering has been executed by using a Zn compound, a deformation and a permanent strain of a material can be prevented. Accordingly, the deformation of the heat exchanger is prevented and its durability can be improved.
