<p>PURPOSE:To indicate an area outside a display area with a mouse cursor and at the same time to reset easily the cursor into the display area, by providing a shift detecting means which detects the information on the cursor display position, a discrimination means and a display device. CONSTITUTION:A mouse 1 is operated by an operator, etc. and the horizontal and vertical shift data X and Y are delivered to a numerical value converting part 2. These data X and Y are counted by the part 2 in the specific time unit and converted into the shift amount data. This amount data is supplied to a coordinate converting part 3 and added to the coordinate data stored in a coordinate value memory 4. These added data are supplied to a physical address converting part 5 and converted into the position data on a drawing area. This position data is supplied to a physical address discrimination part 6. The part 6 discriminate whether the input value is set or not within the display area of a CRT 9. When the input value is set outside the display area, the data on a mark showing the return direction is delivered to a display control part 7 via a shift discrimination part and then displayed on the CRT 9. Thus it is possible to reset easily a cursor set outside a display area into the display area.</p> |
