<p>PURPOSE:To supply the function information on the instructions for the end of input, the types of graphic elements, etc., in the form of the input information through a simple operation, by using a switch means for combined input of both the tablet information and the function information on a stylus pen. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 4 supplies a request to a controller 3 for input of the tablet information, etc., via a physical I/O routine 41 in an active mode of a tablet input routine 42. The controller 3 supplies the tablet coordinate value corresponding to the position of a stylus pen 1 on a tablet 2 by means of the pressure signal of the pen 1 and at the same time supplies the function information via a button switch 14. Then the controller 3 combines the information on the tablet 2 and the function information on the pen 1 for formatting and supplies these combined information to the routine 42. Thus it is possible to supply various types of function information on the instructions for the end of input and the types of graphic elements, etc., as well as the graphic selection, etc., in the form of the input information through a simple operation.</p> |
