CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING OF PLANT HAVING STAINLESS STEEL MADE PIPING AND EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent the stress corrosion crack at the welding part of a piping and equipment by coating the welding part of the piping made of stainless steel and equipment by affixing an adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape 3 is affixed so as to completely cover the welding part of a stainless steel made piping 1 and equipment in the construction process of the plant having the stainless steel made piping and equipment. The adhesive tape that the adhesive force measuring value by JIS.Z.0237 is in the range of 30g-400g/10mm width over its peeling off time from the coating time is used for the adhesive tape 3. In this way the stress corrosion crack is prevented by shutting off from the outside air including a sea salt particle the welding part of the stainless steel piping and equipment with simple operation.
