CONSTITUTION:In the device for collecting fine sand from sediment dug out from the river bottom, etc., the muddy water generated when impurities are removed from fine sand being conveyed by a belt 6 in a water vessel 1 is sucked by a suction means such as a siphon pipe 40. Then the muddy water is sent into a receiving pit 47 through a suction tube 48, discharged into a delivery tube 58, and sent into the screen body 18 of the main collector body B. The impurities in the muddy water are removed therein, and the fine sand is passed through the screen and charged into the water vessel 1. The fine sand in the sediment is efficiently collected in this way, and the impurities are surely removed.
