PURPOSE:To heat an oven uniformly and improve cooking property by a method wherein porous ceramics flame ports are provided on the upper part of a burner and three pieces of mixing tubes are equipped at the lower part of the same while the combustion area of the ceramics flame ports is permitted to be changed in four stages by controlling the supply of mixture to respective mixing tubes. CONSTITUTION:The amount of combustion in porous ceramics flame ports 16 is determined by the amount of gas injected from a large nozzle 3, a middle nozzle 6 and a small nozzle 9. The amount of injected gas from the large nozzle 3 is set so as to be 1,400kcal/h and the amount of the same injected from the middle nozzle 6 or the small nozzle 9 is set so as to be 800kcal/h, for example. The amount of combustion of 3,000kcal/h may be obtained when the gas is injected from the large nozzle 3, the middle nozzle 6 and the small nozzle 9, the amount of combustion of 2,200kcal/h may be obtained when the gas is injected from the large nozzle 3 and the middle nozzle 6 and the amount of combustion of 1,600kcal/h may be obtained when the gas is injected from the middle nozzle 6 and the small nozzle 9 while the amount of combustion of 800kcal/h may be obtained when the gas is injected from only the small nozzle 9.
