<p>PURPOSE:To attain normal and reverse tape travels instantaneously responding to switching with a simple constitution only by switching the rotating direction of a motor by providing a relay gear which always engages with a power rotating body linked to the motor and moving the relay gear in accordance with the rotating direction of the power rotating body so that rotating power can be transmitted to a reel only in the reverse direction. CONSTITUTION:When the rotating direction of a main gear 21 linked to the motor is E, the normal play relay gear 23 receives tangent power from the main gear 21 and moves in the direction of an arrow A, stops at a stopper position, engages with a normally rotating reel gear 25, and rotates in the direction of an arrow B, thereby transmitting power. Whereas the rotating direction of the main gear 21 is F, the reverse play relay gear 24 moves in the direction of an arrow C to engage with a reversely rotating reel gear 26, and rotates in the direction of an arrow D to transmit power. Accordingly either one of reel stands rotates in accordance with the rotating direction of the main gear 21 directly connected to the motor 1, and its switching is made the moment the rotating direction of a capstan is switched, whereby a tape smoothly travels in normal and reverse directions.</p> |
