<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate an abrupt change in a tape state even at the time of switching a travel mode and to run the tape stably by controlling the rotating drive means of a reel during the prescribed period through the use of information corresponding to the rotation state of the reel, which appears before the prescribed period since a command was issued, when an instruction means instructs the changeover of a travel mode. CONSTITUTION:A comparison signal corresponding to the rotating period of a reel receiving stand 1 inputs to a period measuring circuit 4 from a comparison signal generator 3. Then the period measuring circuit 4 counts a reference pulse (b) from a reference pulse generator 5, and inputs it as period data (C1)-(C4) to the 1st arithmetic circuit 6. Winding diameter data outputted from the 1st arithmetic circuit 6 inputs to a switch circuit 8. When a switching pulse outputted from a travel mode instructing circuit 7 is inputted at the time of switching a travel mode, a timer circuit 9 causes the switch circuit 8 in an OFF state, and resets it in an ON state after the prescribed time expires. The winding diameter data passing through the switch circuit 8 is read out of a memory circuit 10. The 2nd arithmetic circuit 11 calculates the arising torque value of a reel drive motor 13, and controls the rotation of the reel receiving stand 1.</p> |
