<p>PURPOSE:To attain a remote control in a JOG mode through the rotational operation of a rotating dial and to upgrade remote operability by transmitting the control command of the rotating dial to a video reproducing device with a variable speed reproduction function in terms of time division and controlling the action of the video reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:When the JOG is set through a mode setting switch 25, a dial encoder microcomputer 24 and a transmission encoder microcomputer 26 transmit in terms of time division the rotation operational direction and rotating speed of a rotating dial plate 210 and the rotating angle position of an outer dial operating ring 220 from a transmission part 27 by dividing the control command into a command for the action direction and a one for the action speed. The side of a VTR main body 100 receives them at a reception part 16. A remote control (encoder) microcomputer 17 and a system control microcomputer 7 control the actions of a motor servo circuit 3, a signal processing circuit 4, a display drive circuit 5, etc. Thus an action in the JOG mode corresponding to the rotating operation of a rotating dial controller 20 is controlled.</p> |
