PURPOSE:To manufacture a plate for lead-acid battery having low fluid strain and high accuracy by arranging separating sheets on the upper and lower sides of a plate to prevent active material from bonding to a press mold when the plate is manually pressed to adjust its thickness. CONSTITUTION:A plate 3 inserted into a press mold 1 with a plate transfer robot 4. A separating sheet 2 is set in the press mold 1, and a press 6 falls down to press the plate 3. A stopper 5 is mounted in the mold to keep the mold in a specified thickness. After passing a specified time, the press 6 rises, and the robot 4 takes out the plate 3 form the mold 1. The separating sheet 2 is transferred by a specified length every operation of the press 6 to set the new sheet on the mold 1. To maximize the performance, the molding pressure is set to 80-200kg/cm<2>. |
