PURPOSE:To permit the partial control of a coloring density in a layer to be dyed of the same film by exposing a water soluble high-polymer film at the exposure larger than the prescribed exposure according to the mosaic- or stripe- shaped pattern of a color separating filter. CONSTITUTION:A 10% aq. gelatin soln. provided with photosensitivity is spin- coated on a glass substrate 5 to provide the layer 6 to be dyed. The entire surface thereof is irradiated with light for the time enough for the gelatin to cure and only the part to be dyed blue is exposed for the time of several times the necessary substantial time through a photomask 7. A photoresist 8 is then coated thereon to obtain the prescribed stripe- or mosaic-shaped photoresist pattern 8a windowed only in the part to be dyed. A blue acid dye is dyed by using such pattern as a mask and after the dye is fixed, the photoresist is removed and the dyeing of the blue region is completed. The similar processes are executed with the other colors as well to form colored layers 9 selectively dyed to the red (a), blue (b), green (c). A transparent resin 10 is coated thereon and the color separating filter 11 is completed. |
