NEW MATERIAL:A pyrazole compound shown by formula I (R is alkyl or phen yl; R<1>-R<5> are H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkoxyalkyl, etc., or R<1> and R<2> may be mutually adjoined and bonded to form ring; R<6> s H, alkyl, phenyl or pyridyl; n is 0 or positive integer). EXAMPLE:alpha-( 4-Chloro-2-methylphenoxy )-N-(1', 3'-dimethyl-5'-pyrazolyl)propionic acid aminde. USE:Useful as a herbicide or a fungicide showing high herbicidal activity against wide kinds of weeds, having safety to rice plant and showing strong antimicrobial activity against plant pathogenic fungi such as Pellicularia sasaki, Cochilobolus miyabaenus, etc., and against Trichophyton, etc. PREPARATION:For example, a pyrazole derivative shown by formula II is reacted with a carboxylic acid halide shown by formula III (X is halogen) to give a compound shown by formula I. |
