PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary photographing by not performing release when the distance measured result after the expiration of a self-timer is changed from the first distance measured result just affer turning-on of a remote self- switch. CONSTITUTION:An automatic range finder is incorporated, and the distance is measured automatically at least twice by this device in case of selt-timer photography. If the absolute value of the difference between a distance measured result t1 (the first distance measured result) in a memory M1 and a distance measured result t3 (the distance measured result after the first self-timer operation) in a memory M3 exceeds beta, an output is not issued from a decision circuit 1e, and therefore, the release is not performed and the remote state is released. Thus, the accident that the release is performed to take an unnecessary picture when a photographer does not intend is prevented. |
