PURPOSE:To simplify card cerification and sales processing jobs by setting the allotted amount of each card based on the data showing the share of payment of each input card and the total amount data on the transaction and sending said allotted amount to a center together with the card data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 11 of an electronic settlement processor 10 stores the input data in a RAM 17 in response to the input of the ratio data or the amount data in case plural card cerification indication keys are operated on a keyboard 12. Then the read card data is stored in the RAM 17. When the input of data is finished in all cards, the total amount is supplied through the keyboard 12 and stored in the RAM 17. Then the CPU 11 calculates the allotted amount of each card based on the ratio data and the total amount data stored in the RAM 17 and stores these calculated allotted amounts in the RAM 17. Furthermore, the CPU 11 reads the card data and its corresponding amount data out of the RAM 17 to compile a telegram and sends this telegram to a credit company center 30.
