PURPOSE:To prevent the positional discrepancy of a foamed sheet with printed pattern from occurring by a method wherein the foamed sheet is controlled so as to be shifted correspondingly to the detected quantity of positional discrepancy in width direction between printed pattern and molds. CONSTITUTION:A positional discrepancy in width direction between printed pattern and molds 20 and 20 is detected by detecting with a photo sensor 5 a detecting line C, which is made by printing along the running direction similar to printed pattern onto a foamed sheet S, so as to control the positional discrepancy of the foamed sheet S in width direction by shifting the foamed sheet S in width direction in order to be able to perform forming process under the state that the printed pattern of the foamed sheet S and molds 20 and 20 register in width direction. Accordingly, the dimensional change and strain of the foamed sheet S, shear of printed pattern in printing and the like are surely controlled by shifting the sheet and the correct and favorable finished shape of a molded part equipped with printed pattern can be realized. |
