PURPOSE:To eliminate an unstable state right after a power source it turned on and to form a reference voltage generator circuit where its output quickly rises by adding two fixed current circuits to the emitters of two bipolar transistors. CONSTITUTION:In terms of a closed loop circuit, the fixed current circuits I1 and I2 are connected to the emitter 5 of the transistor Q1 and the emitter 4 of the transistor Q2, respectively. The titled circuit is constituted so that when the same current is flowed in two bipolar transistors, a voltage across the base and the emitter of one transistor can be different from a voltage across the base and the emitter of the other transistor. In order to set the voltage VBE1 across the base and emitter of the transistor Q1 larger than the voltage VBE2 across the base and emitter of the transistor Q1, the emitter size of the Q2 is larger n-times (n>1) that of the Q1. At the time of turning on the power source, instantaneously the fixed current circuits I1 and I2 operate, and therefore a potential difference between the emitters 4 and 5 of the transistors Q1 and Q2 is caused, and a such a voltage drop arises that feedback is applied to balance the positive phase input 6 of an operational amplifier and its reverse phase input 5 by a resistance 2.
