PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a drive circuit and to speed up the circuit by providing a circuit comprising a circuit consisting of a logic circuit outputting a complementary signal and two transistors (TRs) and comprising a circuit two TRs whose collectors are connected to bases via a capacitor and whose emitters are connected together and an impedance circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an output terminal 15 reaches a high potential logical level and an output terminal 16 goes to a low potential logical level, a load connected to an output terminal 24 is charged up rapidly because a TR 210 is turned on and reaches a high potential level. On the other hand, the load connected to an output terminal 25 is discharged by a current flowing through resistors 200, 202 because the TR 213 is turned on and goes to a low potential level. The capacitance of capacitors 220, 221 is decided by setting the on- duration time of the TRs 212, 213. When the logical signal at the input terminal 10 is unchanged, the power consumption of the drive circuit 2 depends nearly on the minute current flowing to the resistors 201, 202 and the circuit becomes a low power drive circuit.
