<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently perform regeneration of a filter from its jammed state, by constituting a device such that oxygen is supplied to between the both filters when oxygen in exhaust is decided to be insufficient, in case of the exhaust purifying device arranging the two filters in series in an exhaust passage. CONSTITUTION:A Diesel engine 1 provides a particulate filter 30, which collects inflammable particles in exhaust, to be arranged in the half way of an exhaust passage 6. While an injector 8, which injects a catalytic solution for promoting combustion of collected particles, is provided in the vicinity of the upstream side of the filter 30, and air from an air pump 9 can be supplied to the injector 8 through an air supply path 16. The air supply path 16 interposes a flow path selector valve 17, and a branch path 18, branching from said valve 17, communicates with inside an exhaust passage 6a between upstream and downstream side filters 31, 32 of the filter 30. And the air from the air pump 9 is supplied between the both filters 31, 32 when the engine is in high loaded operation with oxygen in sufficient.</p> |
