PURPOSE:To bring the shaft centers of both upper and lower bearings accurately into line by forming respective press-fitted parts being closely in contact with the inner surface of a casing body, in both upper and lower housings internally fitted to the casing respectively, and setting the positions of both upper and lower bearings on the basis of respective press-fitted parts. CONSTITUTION:In the upper part in the interior of a hermetically sealed casing 1 being comprised of a body 10 an a cover 11, an upper bearing 8 which supports the driving shaft 7 of a revolving scroll 3 is contained, and further an upper housing 4 which supports a fixed scroll 2 is internally fitted. And in the lower part in the interior of the casing 1, a lower housing 6 which contains a lower bearing 9 supporting a motor 5 and the driving shaft 7 is internally fitted. In the above constitution, in both the upper and lower housings 4, 6 respective press-fitted parts 40, 60 being closely in contact with the inner surface of the body 10 of the casing 1 are formed respectively. And the positions of both the upper and lower bearings 8, 9 are set on the basis of respective press-fitted parts 40, 60. Thus, the shaft centers of both the upper and lower bearings 8, 9 are accurately brought into line, and the sliding of the driving shaft can be improved.
