PURPOSE:To enable mass-production of a magnetic head element by constituting plural head elements on a base so that a winding of each head element is prolonged to one side of the head element part. CONSTITUTION:After a head element 12 is formed on a base 11, the base 11 is cut off so that the end face 14A of the winding 14 is exposed to the side face and a connection conductor 26 is formed to be connected to a winding terminal exposed on the cut face so as to easily manufacture a magnetic head element 27 of objective element having the connection conductor 26 to a face 11b' different from a face 11a'of the base 11' formed with the head element 12. In the manufacture, the plural head elements 13 are formed on the base 11, they are cut off at each block 23, the blocks 23 are recombined to form a cut face 23a as a common face 24 while being cut at each block 23, the connection conductor 26 is formed as a form of the base to separate the magnetic head elements 27. Thus, a large number of the magnetic head elements 27 are manufactured at the same time. |
