PURPOSE:To decrease the friction when a magnetic tape contacts the contact face of a magnetic head by applying and fixing a fluororesin to the contact face of a magnetic head in contact onto the magnetic tape and using the fluororesin so as to reduce the ruggedness of the contact face. CONSTITUTION:In using a magnetic head 6 while the fluororesin 9 is fixed, the magnetic tape 8 is not directly contacted with the contact face 7 but slides the tape while being in contact with the fluororesin 9 coated on the surface. Since the fluororesin 9 has a small friction coefficient, the magnetic tape 8 slides while being slided with the surface of the resin 9 smoothly. Since the surface ruggedness of the contact face 7 does not contact the magnetic tape 8 directly, the magnetic material applied with the magnetic tape 8 is not shaped by the surface roughness but slides on the surface of the fluororesin 9 smoothly.
