PURPOSE: To transfer cellulose fibers held in a state overpressured similarly as a contained liquid by dividing a pressure vessel into two chambers with a bulkhead, disposing a disk extended in an air-tight fit state through a slit formed in the bulkhead, and exchanging suspension flows between the chambers by the use of the disk. CONSTITUTION: The inner portion of a pressure-resistant closed vessel is divided with a central vertical bulkhead comprising an upper portion integrally formed with an upper half body 11 and a lower portion 23 integrally formed with a lower half body 13 to form two separation chambers A, B. The free edge portions of the bulkhead portions are ended at flanges 25, 27. The upper and lower flanges 25, 27 are placed at positions apart from each other at a certain distance, and a screen disk 29 is inserted into a horizontal slit between the flanges. A rotary vertical shaft 20 to be driven using a motor is attached to the disk 29. A screen cloth is clamped between the upper and lower support disks of the disk 29, and penetrated notches are formed in the support disks at mutually faced positions. |
