PURPOSE:An eye drop preparation that contains a combination of glycylrrhizin salt (anti-inflammatory), which has a sweet taste, with a sweetness-shielding substance, thus giving improved pleasant feeling, when applied. CONSTITUTION:A sweetener such as glycylrrhizin is combined with a sweetness- shielding substance, preferably glutamic or inosic acid or their salts in amount of 0.1-2pts.wt. preferably 0.5-1.5pts.wt. of the shielding substance per 1pt.wt. of the sweetener to give the objective eye drop which gives good feeling, when applied. According to the present invention, the use of the sweetener is not restricted and the selection of other components can be expanded.
