PURPOSE:To improve the weathering resistance of the obtained polyurethane resin and to make it possible to form a solventless or high-solid paint, especially, when used in a urethane paint, by reacting a specified triisocyanate compound with an active hydrogen compound. CONSTITUTION:A triisocyanate compound of formula I [wherein formula II represents formula III or IV] is reacted with an active hydrogen compound. A compound of formula I (wherein formula II is formula III), i.e., 1,3,5-tris(isocyanatomethyl)benzene, and a compound of formula I (wherein formula II is formula IV), i.e., 1,3,5-tris(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane, can be obtained by phosgenating the corresponding triamine compounds.
