<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled thin and uniform composite membrane having an excellent characteristic in concentrating oxygen by impregnating a porous carrier with liq. siloxane which is cured by the irradiation of radiation, irradiating radiation from the other side to cure the siloxane, and then removing the unreacted matter by washing. CONSTITUTION:The porous carrier 1 is formed with a material having strength, chemicals resistance, and pore diameter stability. THe pores of the carrier 1 are impregnated with a siloxane compd. having >=1 vinyl group, acrylic ester group, etc., at the terminal end of the high molecular chain from one side, an electron beam is irradiated from the other side, or UV rays are irradiated along with a photopolymerization initiator when the porous carrier 1 is transparent. Consequently, polymerization proceeds, and the compd. is cured to form a membrane 2. The excess siloxane compd. is immediately washed with a solvent and removed. Although the thickness of the cured siloxane compd. is controlled by the accelerating voltage and radiation dose, the accelerating voltage is preferably controlled to 150-200KV, and the radiation does is adjusted to 1-20Mrad.</p> |
