PURPOSE:To make steering sensation on road running and straight running during work equal to that of a general vehicle and to facilitate turning of a vehicle, by a method wherein front wheels are steered in a specified range of the whole rotation range of a steering handle, and in a range exceeding a specified range, a vehicle is bent. CONSTITUTION:A front can body 10 having front wheels 14 are coupled with a rear car body 17 having rear wheels 19 bendably around a vertical shaft 24, and the front wheels 14 are supported around king pins 12 so as to allow free steering. When a steering handle 20 is operated in a specified range, e.g., 360 deg., an electromagnetic valve 30 is actuated, a front wheel steering cylinder 16 is actuated through the working of an electromagnetic valve 33, and the front wheels 14 are steered around their respec tive king pins 12. When the steering handle 20 is operated in a range exceeding the specified range, the electromagnetic valve 33 is switched, the front wheels 14 are secured in a steered condition, and a car body bending cylinder 15 is expanded and contracted to bend the car bodies 10 and 17 around the vertical shaft 24. This constitu tion enables a vehicle to be driven with the same feeling as that of general vehicle during steering at road running and straight running during work, and also permits facilitation of rapid turn.
