The buried-cable or buried pipe prefabricated construction box essentially consists of a flat, bottomless box frame which has supporting brackets all round and an angle frame fastened to supporting straps. After the box frame is placed on the bottom of the excavation, a lifting cover taking hold of the respective surface structure (paving or the like) is put down on the supporting brackets of the box frame, in which arrangement the free assembly space is obtained under the lifting cover, and above the lifting cover the enclosed surface structure can always be lifted or transported intact. This ensures among other things that, on the one hand, the technology installed in the free assembly space is easily accessible and expensive excavation or reinstatement of trenches as a result of recurring retrofitting, trouble-shooting and repairs is no longer necessary and, on the other hand, preformed protective insulation for the standard units installed in the box frame can now always be effectively attached in a simple manner.
