PURPOSE:To prevent solidification of the titled compound useful an insecticide, etc., efficiently without producing a bad effect upon desired action and reaction, by using an organic acid amide or a cyclic organic acid amide which is stable under a severe condition as a solidification inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:p-Dichlorobenzene(p-CDB) is blended with 0.005-1.0wt%, preferably 0.01-0.3wt% one or more organic acid amide or cyclic organic acid amide selected from preferably N-methylformamide, 2-pyrrolidone, N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone and N,N'-ethylene-di-2-pyrrolidone so that solidification of p-DCB useful as an agricultural chemical or a raw material for dye or polymer is advantageously prevented without causing decomposition or change in quality under a use condition by using the solidification inhibitor having high stability even under a severe condition such as strong acidity or strong alkalinity at high temperature.
