PURPOSE:To enable the inductance of a variable inductor to be variable by connecting a movable coil in series with a stationary coil and supporting it rotatably. CONSTITUTION:A stationary coil 12 wound in an arbitrary shape including circular, elliptical, rectangular or semicircular shape, and a movable coil 14 wound in the similar shape to the coil 12 are provided, the coil 14 is rotatably supported to the coil 12 so that the superposing degree can be varied, and the coils 12, 14 are electrically connected in series. When both the coils 12, 14 are completely superposed, the inductance becomes maximum or minimum, and when not completely superposed, the inductance becomes minimum or maximum. Thus, the inductance can be arbitrary variable therebetween.
