PURPOSE:To enable the assembling to a sensor without using a lens and almost performing adjustment, by operating a movable member using a shape memory alloy of which the shape changes on the basis of a heat-sensitive terminal part. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 8b is fixed to a V-groove 9 while an optical fiber 8a is placed in the V-groove so that the leading end thereof is opposed to the optical fiber 8b and the optical axes of two optical fibers 8a, 8b can be matched by the pressure of a leaf spring 13. When a heat-sensitive terminal part 14 is ambient temp. or less, a movable member 10 is pushed down by a coil spring 11 having compression force stronger than that of a shape memory alloy coil 12 and the optical axes of the optical fibers 8a, 8b coincide and light is transmitted from the optical fiber 8a to the optical fiber 8b. Next, when the heat-sensitive terminal part 14 reaches definite temp. or more, the shape memory alloy coil 12 generates recovery force on the basis of the heat-sensitive terminal part 14 to push the movable member 10 upwardly to block the transmission of light between both optical fibers 8a, 8b. By this method, a sensor can detect the rising in temp. reaching definite temp. or more by the presence of an optical signal and the function as the sensor becomes possible.
