Method of replacing balconies subject to serious rust damage with weight-bearing girders, with a steel profile, which are anchored in the building's girder tier. The aim of the invention is to produce a single method by which the present and intact girders can be used in such a way that the new weight bearing balcony frame is attached to them. This problem has been solved by cutting those exterior girders (12) which are damaged by rust, behind the area of rust damage; a part of the girder (12) which lies intact within the facade is thus exposed; over or within the exposed girders (12), a suitable casing (13), or a similar structure, for each of the girders' outer and/or inner contours is introduced which is then tied to the respective girder (12) whose casing is so constructed that it presents a connecting element for a new balcony frame (14) or, in its own right, comprises a part of the balcony's weight-bearing structure.<IMAGE> |
