FUNCTION MAINTAINING STRUCTURE FOR OIL SEAL IN GEARED MOTOR

PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of long service life in an oil seal, by reserving a certain amount of cooling-combined lubricating oil in the space part installed in a spot nearer to the speed reducer side than the oil seal lying between a partition member and a turning shaft. CONSTITUTION:A space part 22 for checking an inrush of lubricating oil 18 and reserving cooling-combined lubricating oil 21 for an oil seal 19 is formed in a spot nearer to the speed reducer part 2 side than the oil seal 19 in space between a partition member 3 and a turning shaft 4. This cooling-combined lubricating oil 21 forms an oil film between the oil seal 19 and a collar 20 attached to the turning shaft 4, cooling both sides, whereby oil seal 19 is preventable from being deteriorated by heat to be produced due to rotation of the collar 20.
