PURPOSE:To reduce the width of the temperature drop of a heat roller by raising the temperature of a clamp conveying heat roller used for heat development and transfer above heating temperature which is considered previously to be necessary and then performing heat development and transfer. CONSTITUTION:When a material to be heated is clamped to the 1st heat roller 50, the material to be heated is heated by the 1st heat roller 50, which has a temperature drop at its contacting point owing to heat conduction. The temperature of the material to be heated, however, rises to temperature a little higher than the temperature T0 which is considered to be necessary. This temperature is easily controlled by adjusting a time B. When the surface part of the 1st heat roller 50 which contacts the material and drops in temperature makes one turn and contacts the material to be heated again this part already drops in temperature, so the quantity of heating to the material to be heated is small and the temperature of the material to be heated is at temperature which is t1 lower than T0. Consequently, the temperature drop due to the contacting with the heated material is reduced.
