<p>Compsn. comprises TiO2 particles with a surfactant (I) present on the surface of the particles. (I) is the reaction prod. of a diamine (II), a carboxylic acid (III), and a fatty acid (IV). - Prefd. (III) have less than 8C, esp. 1-4C; prefd. (IV) have 8-24 esp. 12-18C; prefd. (II) are 8-22C fatty or ether diamines. Opt. the compsns. may also include a glycol, esp. propylene glycol. Opt. the surfactant (I) may be used treat pigments such as TiO2, C black, organic pigments, or inert pigments, etc..</p> |
