PURPOSE:To prevent damage through sure adhesion by forming a ring-shaped recess at the outside or inside surface of a divided bearing sleeve body, fitting a pin in said recess in such a way as protruding at one end of the body, coating adhesive at the recess, and affixing an anti-abrasive material followed by finish processing. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped recess 2 is formed at the outside surface of a bearing sleeve body 1 divided into halves or segment, and a pin hole 4 is provided in the ring-shaped recess 2 from the end face of said bearing sleeve body 1, and a locating fix pin 3 is fitted in such a way as protruding into the recess 2. Then an anti-abrasive material 5 such as ceramic is formed into circle halves with possibility of fitting in said recess 2, followed by coating of an adhesive 6 over the internal surface 2 of each of these halves or over the surface of the recess 2, and they are bonded fast to then undergo finish processing upon drying the adhesive 6. Accordingly the adhesive layer is uniform to ensure strong bond, and the fix pin does not allow rotation of the anti-abrasive material, which should lead to prevention of wearout of the divided bearing sleeve body 1.
