The process, for use in prodn. of small containers of tray shape, consists of (a) impregnating a paper or card sheet of suitable weight through both faces with heat-polymerisable acrylic resin; (b) adding a second and further sheets impregnated in the same way until the weight required in the final prod. is achieved; (c) adding a thin sheet, with impermeable character; and (d) subjecting the assembly of superimposed sheets to the action of a crimping or fluting machine, under heat and pressure to polymerise the resin and confer rigidity to the finished prod..
