PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent electrical conductivity, transparency, durability and adhesion to materials to be coated, by blending an emulsion of a copolymer of four specified monomers with an org. polar solvent. CONSTITUTION:5-50% (by weight; the same applies hereinbelow) ionic electrolyte monomer (a) having an ethylenically unsaturated group is reacted with 1-15% monomer having a crosslinkable functional group as well as an ethylenically unsaturated group and pref. further an active hydrogen group (e.g., N-methylolacrylamide), 1-15% ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer (C) (e.g., acrylic acid) and 34-93% polymerizable monomer (d) having an ethylenically unsaturated group copolymerizable with the components (a), (b) and (c) in a dispersant in the presence of an emulsifier and a radical generating agent at 40-90 deg.C for 5-8hr to obtain a copolymer emulsion (A) contg. 10-50% solid, 100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) component A is blended with 1-40pts.wt. org. polar solvent (B) (e.g., dimethylformamide).
