<p>Certain fluorinated cycloalkanecarboxanilides of the formula <CHEM> where R<1> is fluorinated cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl and R<2> is (1) 2-bromo-4-nitrophenyl, (2) 2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl, (3) 2-iodo-4-nitrophenyl, (4) 2-cyano-4-chlorophenyl, (5) 2,5-dichloro-4-nitrophenyl, (6) 2-methyl-4-nitro-5-chlorophenyl, (7) 2,3,4,5-tetrachlorophenyl, or (8) pentafluorophenyl exhibit unexpectedly superior activity as Diabrotica larvicides.</p> |
